🚀 What is LandmarX?

LandmarX is a mobile app powered with Open AI that builds custom travel itineraries based on your vibe, preferences, and goals. Whether you're planning a romantic escape, a graduation trip, or a solo adventure, LandmarX makes it easy (and fun) to plan every detail. LandmarX is also designed to provide low-cost travel needs such as eSIMs (available now), public transportation, and hotel bookings (coming soon).

💳 How does pricing work?

LandmarX offers flexible options designed to fit every type of traveler:

• 🆓 Free ($0): Create unlimited trips using LandmarX AI and easily manage your itinerary and budget with our schedule and map features. You can also purchase low-cost eSIMs (available now), public transportation, and hotel bookings (coming soon) directly for your trips.

• Globetrotter ($1.67/mo @ $20/year): For a low annual fee (cheaper than a cup of coffee per month), unlock premium Amelia AI-powered features, including:

  • Check My Trip: LandmarX Amelia AI reviews the latest information for each Point of Interest (POI) in your itinerary, checking local rules and customs, budget considerations, ticket requirements, wait times, availability, weather, and safety. This helps you avoid surprises—like arriving to find an attraction closed when you planned to visit.

  • Create Half-Day: LandmarX Amelia AI will re-adjust your schedule based on the number of hours you plan per day. Instead of you manually moving specific POI to specific days, Amelia AI will handle it. Just enter the date and hours you have available.

      How does eSIM work?​

​

1. Choose a Plan: Securely buy a data plan that fits your trip

2. Activate Your eSIM (Recommended): Tap Activate after purchase (or go to eSIM > Activate in LandmarX if you don't see it)

3. Install on Your iPhone: Tap Install eSIM, follow the steps and choose Data Only when asked

4. Manual Install (Skip Steps 2-3): Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM and scan your QR code

5. Check Phone Settings (*Important): Turn the eSIM ON, set to LTE, turn Data Roaming ON, and turn primary SIM Off unless you want to use it for voice and SMS.

6. Manage Your eSIM: View your eSIM status in LandmarX and add data anytime with Top Up

7. Start Using Internet: Browse, map, and use apps right away

8. Need Help: Restart your iPhone or contact LandmarX Support below anytime
   NOTE: You can always purchase your eSIM before the trip. You can activate it anytime before your trip to avoid wifi or cell signal issues.

📱 Can I use LandmarX for international trips?

Yes! LandmarX supports travel in cities around the world. Our recommendations are tailored based on your destination and preferences, whether you’re headed to Tokyo or Tulum. Don't forget to purchase an eSIM to ensure you have access to LandmarX and your other apps.

How does LandmarX personalize my travel itinerary?

LandmarX uses AI to create itineraries based on your interests, travel style, budget, and even your Myers–Briggs personality type (MBTI). This means your recommendations are tailored to what you love—whether that’s must-see attractions, hidden gems, or local favorites—so every trip feels uniquely yours.

Is LandmarX really free to use?

LandmarX offers an ad-free AI- itinerary plan where you can create up to 30 days’ worth of trips each year—no credit card required. For travelers who want unlimited planning and extra AI features (like safety, weather, budget and other travel information), we offer our Globetrotter subscription for $19.99/year or $0.75/week (cheaper than a cup of coffee). This upgrade unlocks unlimited travel planning and enhanced itinerary tools, so you can explore as much as you want, whenever you want!

What makes LandmarX different from other travel apps?

LandmarX was built from a simple, familiar frustration.

We’ve all been there—opening multiple tabs, asking tools like ChatGPT for ideas, checking places on Google Maps or Apple Maps, then scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube to see if those places are actually worth it.

It works—if you have time. We deal with this all the time.

 

But when you’re already traveling, dealing with a delay, or trying to make the most of a few unexpected hours, that process quickly becomes overwhelming. You end up with ideas… but no clear, workable plan.

That’s where LandmarX comes in.

 

LandmarX combines a custom-built planning engine with real-time mapping data to turn scattered ideas into something you can actually follow. Instead of jumping between apps, you get a map-based plan that considers distance, timing, and what’s realistically possible in the time you have.

 

And if you prefer using familiar tools on the ground, you can export your selected places directly into Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Unlike traditional travel apps or newer AI-driven travel apps, LandmarX provides you personalize recommendations with your MBTI and travel requirements like pet-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and LGBTQ-friendly. LandmarX also provides you with up-to-date safety, weather, are tickets needed, open hours, and other critical travel information to avoid spoiling your travel plans.

Can LandmarX package my plan to fit my budget?

LandmarX allows you to create your personalized plan based on three level budget categories - Luxury, Mid-range, or Budget-conscious. It even goes further by reviewing your point-of-interest locations cost which can be reviewed against your overall budget.  This way you will know whether the places you plan to visit will fit your travel budget.

✈️ How far in advance should I plan?

We recommend planning at least 2 weeks in advance, but you can start as early or late as you'd like.

🛠 Can I change my itinerary after it’s created?

Yes! You can edit your itinerary, swap out recommendations, and adjust timing—all directly in the app.
